G.A.A: In the first round of the Minor Football “A” championship Kilsheelan Gaels had a very good win over St. Josephs (Clonmel Og and Fethard) combination on a score of 4-8 to 2-7.  In the second round they took on Moyle Rovers and were defeated by two points in a very entertaining game of football. In the opening game of the Senior Football we took on Moyle Rovers in Clonmel last Saturday.  After a very even first half Moyle Rovers led by two points at the interval. Kilsheelan tired considerably in the second half and Moyle Rovers took over to win convincingly in the end. Bill Maher received the South Tipperary Young Hurler of the year Award in Minella sponsored by the Nationalist last Saturday night. This is well deserved and a great honour for the Club and also for Bill’s family. Congrats Bill. Well done to the Clonmel High School who won the County U/15 Football Final against the Abbey CBS.  Club players involved included Daire Brennan, Kevin Kehoe, Brendan Martin and Martin Gibbs who was injured.
