Our U12 Footballers suffered the heartbreak of losing the County Final on Wednesday evening last in Templetuohy by a one point margin to Moycarkey/Borris.

Having defeated Thurles Gaels in the preliminary round and Lorrha in the Semi Final, they went into the final quietly confident of victory but it wasn’t to be as Moycarkey held on take the title.

However they did the Club and parish proud and can look back on what was a marvellous year on being crowned West champions for the second year in a row.

With the hurling now in full swing their will be plenty activity for them over the next few months to look forward to.
