The girls maintained their winning streak with a 5-1 win against Clonmel Celtic in Clonmel on Sunday. Katie O’Regan got Killenaule off to a good start with a goal after 15 minutes. Shauna Hayes and Katie O’Regan followed with another 2 goals to leave us 3-0 at half time. They kept up the pressure in the second half with 2 more quick goals from Aimee Moloney and Roisin Trehy. Celtic got a fine goal with 10 minutes to go.

ICA celebrated 60 years ICA in Killenaule. Members and friends attended a special ladies night of image and style by image consultant Margaret Doyle in St Mary’s hall on June 8, cheese and wine reception, followed by Margaret giving personal attention to members on what styles were suitable for figure shape and advice on colour co-ordination. After a break for refreshments Margaret and her assistant Lucy gave a demonstration on arranging scarves. Raffle winners Rita Houlahan, Michelle Maher, Ella Hayes, Mary O’Connell, Bessie Nagle, Patsy Burke, Lily Barrett. Thanks to all who supported the night in any way.
