THANKS

Many thanks to everyone who supported the recent church gate collections for Down Syndrome Ireland.

JUVENILE GAA

Boherlahan Dualla U12A hurling panel played the mid final against Moycarkey Borris last Saturday evening in glorious sunshine in The Ragg. It was a pulsating, nerve wrecking and high standard game, so much so extra time could not divide the two teams. Our young players fought relentlessly throughout and gave it their all. With great support from the parish, a team parade led by a lone piper prior to the match all added to the atmosphere of the occasion. The replay was been fixed for last Monday, August 20. Please see Mid Bord na nOg result section for a match report on this replay.

BUILDING A PARISH BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT PROGRAMME

A workshop on this theme is offered by the Social Work Department at Milford Centre, Castletroy, Limerick on Saturday, September 22, and Saturday, November 10. The aim of this workshop is to enable new Parish Bereavement Groups to consider the type of support they will provide to the bereaved in the locality. Anyone interested in attending or forming a Bereavement Group in the parish give their names to Fr. Egan or Fr. Brennan.
