GALTEE ROVERS - ST PECAUN’S
Juvenile Club - Our U12 Footballers recently took part in a Croke Park Blitz Activity Day. The boys went up as current U12A County Champions and played three games on the pristine Croke Park surface. The games were followed by a museum and stadium tour. It was an unbelievable experience for the lads and they represented Galtee Rovers with pride. Many thanks to the coaches, parents and supporters that came along on the day. This day was the rounding off of a long, but very successful year for our mighty U12 lads.
Fundraiser - Our Juvenile club will have a fund raising event called “Guess the Mess” this Wednesday, August 22, in the show grounds. We will have a crushed car on display and people are asked to guess the make, the year and the mileage of the car. The nearest correct guess wins!
Football - On Friday night our junior footballers were defeated by Sean Treacy’s in the West championship. The first half was fairly close with a succession of Brendan Healy points keeping us in touch. After the break the Treacy’s pulled away however and were good value for their win.
Club Draw - On Saturday night the August draw will be held in the McGrath Centre. As usual a sincere Thank You to all our promoters and supporters
