Trad Music Night – The generous musicians who gave of their time to send money to Trocaire wish to thank the patrons who helped make €365 for the starving children. They played in the Ponda Rosa, Mary Heffernans and Coughlans, Main St.
Sympathy – To the Ryan Martin families of Westons’ Lot, Rossmore, on the recent death of Sr. John aged 103 who served in Perth, Australia for many many years. Sr. John always kept in touch with family in Rossmore and Dublin.
Belated Birthday – To Mrs Kit Barry, The Cresent who celebrated her 91st birthday last week with her family. Kit is healthy, gets to mass most mornings, calls and chats to her neighbours and from that point of view will make the 100.
Tea-Dance – The Tea-Dance on Saturday 3rd November will have a Halloween flavour with lots of extra spot prizes and it’s the last dance before Christmas, so put on the glad-rags and bring along your friends and its’ all in aid of the Day-Care.
Collections – Last Sunday the collection in aid of the missions came to €1,050 and Father brought it to €1,200- what a great contribution from the people who gave so generously. A collection outside the Church came to €900.
