The race night in The Bit and Bridle was a great success, thanks to all who supported and especially the sponsors; Bourke’s Daybreak, The Bit and Bridle, Killenaule Vets, John Healy Lawnmowers, Gleeson’s Quarries and Moloney Construction. Thanks to all the players and parents for the work put in to make the night a success.
The U8s, 10s, 12s and 14s will travel to Nenagh on Saturday for matches, bus leaving at 2.45pm from Scoil Ruain, no training at 6pm.
The U18 and Seniors will be playing this weekend, times not confirmed. U18s play Piltown and Seniors travel to Tipp town.
Two events will take place in Killenaule on Daffodil Day, Friday, March 22 - A coffee morning in St Mary’s hall, 10am to 12.30pm; and the Gortnahoe Glengoole Drama Group will present a two-act comedy, in the sports complex at 8pm. Tickets €10 includes prizes on door.
Cumann Cill Nàile - We had an impressive turnout for our Juvenile registration night and were delighted with the number of new members. Anyone unable to attend can contact Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer for a registration form. Membership €20, Family €30
U12s played their first match on Saturday and were beaten. They were hindered by the fact that they are in the A Group this year.
An Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention talk will take place on Friday, March 29, at 8.30pm in the Complex. Guest speakers .
