On a bright dry day in Moycarkey, Templemore were our opponents. It was a great game of football and the Cahir Girls proved to strong for Templemore on the day and were deserving winners of the silverware, under the leadership of their captain Megan Burke who was a terrific captain both on and off the pitch with her inspiring words of encouragement to her team at all times.
The girls were fantastic putting in great effort, commitment and dedication at all their training sessions despite the weather conditions. Thanks, congratulations and well done girls. Thanks also to the team management Liam Shinnick, John Murphy, Anthony Corcoran, Mary Shinnick.
