TIPPERARY PERSON OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to Martin Quinn on receiving the “Tipperary Person of the Year” award from the Tipperary association in Dublin last Saturday night.
The award was presented at a gala dinner in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. Martin was very appreciative of the support from the Tipperary Town and Bansha area, this has been a great boost for Martin who has suffered from ill health in recent months.
BANSHA KILMOYLER HEARTSAFE
Bansha Kilmoyler Heartsafe will hold a church gate collection on the weekend of June 8 and 9 in both Bansha and Kilmoyler.
Funds donated will be used to purchase new pads for the defibrillators and also to maintain then in good condition for use when needed.
GLEN OF AHERLOW WALKING FESTIVAL
The Glen of Aherlow annual Walking Festival will take place over the June bank Holiday weekend, three days of walking on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The Glen of Aherlow, while not winning the overall prize on the Irish Times competition, got the category award for best inland holiday destination.
This is a great boost for tourism in the Glen of Aherlow.
The Rosary will be prayed at the Millennium Monument in Ballough every evening during the month of May at 7.30pm. All welcome.
