Good news for Dualla Road residents - the area has been allocated €68,000 for a new footpath.

Under the South Tipperary County Council Walking and Strategy for 2013 applications were invited from interested groups to submit proposals for funding. On behalf of the Dualla Road Residents Association, Chairman Richard O’Brien applied for the Dualla Road pedestrian and cycling facilities to be improved. Such improvements are very necessary as Cashel Community School is located on this road, as are a number of housing estates. Mr. O’Brien has received a very positive response from Area Engineer Willie Corby confirming that under the Strategy the County Council has allocated €68,000 for new footpaths to be installed from the Community School towards Crotty’s Lane (the end of the bohereen).
