Army hurling squad defeat Carrick Swan Senior team

The Swans led at half time but the Defence Forces squad took the lead in the second half and won the game. Meanwhile, the Club’s Intermediate footballers play Moyle Rovers this Sunday at 5.30pm in Clonmel.

The Swan Minor hurling team’s championship game against St Mary’s takes place this Thursday in Kilsheelan at 7.30pm.

The U-16s played Durlas Óg in a challenge game last weekend and later played Ballingarry in Davin Park. The team also play Killenaule later this week.

The successful U-10 League on The Green in recent weeks involved teams from Ballingarry, Ballyneale, Mullinahone, Carrick Davins and Ballybacon. It raised more than €200 for Down Syndrome Ireland. The Club thanks South Tipperary GDA John Cummins for organising the event.
