The Fr. Colm O’Brien Memorial Cycle takes place on this Saturday, August 10.

The annual event is now in its fourth year and in that time more than €50,000 has been raised for charity.

The cycle is held in memory of the popular priest who served in Ss Peter and Paul’s Parish in Clonmel, and who died in September 2009.

Route One of this year’s cycle will start at Ss Peter and Paul’s Church at 11am and travel directly to Tramore.

Cyclists also have the option of taking the second route at 1pm from St. Paul’s, Lisduggan, Waterford to Tramore.

This year the proceeds will go to the Anam Cara Parental and Sibling Support Group and the Robbie Forristal Fund.
