Brian Borus Ladies Football Club;
Congratulations to Jackie O’Gorman, Sinead Kennedy, Maureen Murphy and Claire Walsh who were on the County Under 16 team who beat Waterford last Saturday. Best of luck also to Caoimhe Condon and the County Under 14 team who are playing the Munster final next Sunday in Cahir at 1o’clock.
Mixed fortunes for the club during the week when our Under 14s lost to a strong Fethard side and the Under 16s were beaten by Clonmel Commercials. However, the Senior team had a comfortable win over Moycarkey in the County league.
Condolences to the O’Brien family on the recent death of Jack. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all.

Late Dinny Lonergan.
On Friday evening last we were saddened when word spread of Dinny’s passing at his home in Glengar just short of his 83rd birthday. He was one of nature’s true gentleman, who possessed great knowledge and was always a joy to meet. During his lifetime he was always a keen supporter of all Father Sheehys activities. He was Club Secretary when we annexed the County Junior Football title in 1960. A quiz enthusiast he with Jackie Condon and John Clohessey brought huge honour to the parish when they won the All Ireland Scor Question Time for Fr Sheehys and Tipperary in 1978. Before our match with Fethard on Sunday last the club held a minute’s silence in his memory and at his removal on Wednesday we will preform a Guard of Honour to salute this unassuming and dignified clubman. The club extends our sympathy to the Lonergan family especially his brother Tommy. Ar dheis de go raibh a h-anam.
We extend our sympathy to the O’Brien Family, Rehill and Crotty Family, Skeheen’ on their recent bereavements.
