Our Sympathy to the family of the late William Hogg, Skeheenarinky whose death occurred recently. To his wife Bridie, daughter Jenna, mother-in law, father-in-law and all his relations, neighbours and friends we offer our sincere condolences. May his soul rest in peace in the comfort of God’s Heavenly Kingdom.
The late Mary Walsh.
It was with deep sadness that people in the local community heard of the death of Mary Walsh, The Treasure Chest, Mitchelstown. Mary was a regular visitor to Burncourt for a number of years, attending with her fellow artist friends the annual Christmas Craft Fair. Such was her personality that she endeared herself to all she met and had always time for a chat with all she met. Our sincere condolences to her family, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May Marys gentle soul rest in peace in the comfort of God’s Heavenly Kingdom.

A number of local ladies are taking part in the Flora Mini Marathon in aid of the Vee Valley Day Care Centre. Your support would be much appreciated. There is a sponsorship card in Maureen Creed’s shop.
