Please support a TABLE Quiz in aid of the Save Bansha Post Office Campaign, which is taking place in Nellie’s Bar, Bansha on Thursday, July 14, at 9pm. Table of four is E20. Table prize for winning table and spot prizes and raffle also on the night. The retention of Bansha Post Office is of critical importance to the life of the community so please come along and support this fund-raising event.

KILIMANJARO CLIMB

A fantastic raffle of sporting prizes will be held in aid of Sinead and Sarah O’Neill’s climb of Kilimanjaro for the charity AWARE. First prize is two premium tickets to any Republic of Ireland game of the winners choice and also a ‘meet and greet with the Irish team. Second prize is a signed Republic of Ireland jersey. Third prize is a signed Munster rugby jersey. A special thank you to John Delaney of the FAI for his very generous donation of the first two prizes. The draw will be held in the Foot Bar, Bansha, on July 31, at 9pm. Tickets will be available in local shops and from Sinead 0879008319 or Carolyn 0877579752

CLONBEG PATTERN

The annual Clonbeg Pattern will take place in Clonbeg Church this weekend, Saturday and Sunday July 16 and 17. From 2pm to 6pm each day the church will be open for the Craft Exhibition, showing some of Tipperary’s most talented craftspeople. Refreshments will be available out the Church both days as usual. The Sunday evening Ecumenical Service will start at 7.45pm at St Sedna’s Holy Well with Intercessions and will be followed by a Celebration of Healing Service in the Church at 8pm, all are welcome to attend.

MOONLIGHT WALK

The fourth annual Moonlight Walk will be held on Friday, July 15, in aid of the Jack & Jill Foundation and Aherlow Fáilte. Open air concert at 8pm with the Dawson Creek Kirwanis Community Band on the balcony of Aherlow House. Walk after concert, sponsor cards for the Moonlight Walk are available from Aherlow house on 062 56331 or Aherlow Fáilte on 062 56331

PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK

The annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock is on Sunday, August 7, names can be given to the Sacristan in either Church.
