The final stake of the year “The Paddy O’Dwyer Stake” which was kindly sponsored by the O’Dwyer family, Ballyclerihan House, Clonmel was won by club secretary David O’Neill “Call me Mark”. The Dan Fortune memorial trophy for winning nominators was won by club stalwart Michael O’Connor, Clogheen. This concluded another great season. The club would like to thank its very kind sponsors, landowners and last but not least the beaters and supporters who come out week after week and who help make the club the success that it is.

Football training on every Monday evening in Rockwell College, All Weather Pitch from 7pm to 8pm for U6, U8, U10 and U12 age groups. Charge €E3 for one child, €E4 for two, €E5 thereafter. Astro turf boots or runners needed. Membership is now due €E10 per child, payable to Geraldine Cleary for registration purposes. New members are very welcome.

CASHEL/NEW INN HOCKEY CLUB
Cashel/New-Inn won the Munster Cup Division 4 quarter final Sunday. They were playing U.C.C. and won 5-0. Margaret-Ann Cooney scored 2 goals in the first half and Suzanne O’Connor scored 1 to make it 3-0 at half-time. Mary Cooney opened the scoring in the second half and Margaret-Ann scored at the end of the match to make it 5-0. CNHC are currently top of Division 4 league also and are playing their next league game this Friday night, 10 February at 8.15pm in Rockwell against Harlequins.
