Recent Deaths:

The death has occurred in Barefield, County Clare of Josie McGrath, formerly of Glenbane, Lattin. Following Requiem Mass in the Church of the Assumption, Lattin, burial took place in the Old Cemetery. Sympathy is also extended to Pat McCormack, Beechwood House, Cullen, on the death of his father, John Joe McCormack, St. Michael Street, Tipperary.

Tennis:

Lattin Tennis Club will hold a registration evening in the Pavilion on Tuesday, April 24, between 8 and 9 pm. All are welcome.

Soccer:

Cullen-Lattin A team will face Killenaule Rovers in a Division Two play-off at Cooke Park, Tipperary on this Sunday, April 22, at 2.30 pm. Both teams attracted a fine crowd to Aisling Park for their last game some weeks ago, so hopefully, many will be present again next Sunday for the club’s final game of the season. Thanks to everyone who supported last Friday’s table quiz in Paul Kelly’s Pub, Tipperary.

Fun Day and Summer Camp:

Cullen Lattin F.C. will hold a fun day in Aisling Park on Sunday, April 29, from 3 to 6 pm. Lots of activities and underage games. The club’s summer camp will take place from Monday, July 2 to the following Friday. FAI qualified coaches will be present and all participants will receive full sets of playing gear. Entry forms should be returned by this Friday, April 20. The entry fee per child is €60 with reductions for extra family members.

Lattin Cullen Ladies Football

The Under 12 Girls played Cappawhite last Monday April 9th in Lattin. We proved to be the stronger team all throughout the match, Well done to all. They played Fermoy in a challenge match in Lattin last Sunday evening.

The County Under 14s Tipp V Kerry played last Saturday April 14th in

Lattin at 2pm. Kerry won by 5 points. Well done to Lara O’Dwyer and Katie O’Donoghue who are on the panel. Tipp qualify for a Munster Final V Waterford on May 5 at a Waterford Venue to be decided. Well done to those who provided the refreshements to all after the match.

JUNIOR LADIES.

The Junior Ladies travelled to Bansha on April 9. There was a great turn out of ladies. Conditions were very poor on the day with hailstones, rain and sun. Galtee Rovers came out Winners in the end but it was a well

worthwhile challenge. New ladies always welcome.
