“The Tuff Yokes,” a night of stand up comedy and humorous song, featuring Pat Hayes and guest artist, is the show being hosted by South Tipperary Rural Arts Group in St. Paul’s Community Centre, Clogheen on Friday, June 29, at 8.15pm. Please note that this night of comedy is for over 18s only. BATTLE OF THE PARISH
All areas are asked to start getting their teams ready for the annual “Battle of the Parish” to be held during Burncourt Community Council’s Festival in July. The events will include members taking part in a Car Treasure Hunt, testing their skills in “I’m a Celebrity, Get me out of here”, Fancy Dress Parade and the Final on the Gala Day, Sunday, July 22.
FESTIVAL ART COMPETITION
As part of the Festival programme, there will be an Art Competition for the pupils from Burncourt National School, with the following age categories - U7, U10 and U13.

Congratulations to Danny Smith, Burncourt on two great wins during the last two weeks. Danny won the 5km Race in Ballyclough on June 16, and the Eddie Murphy Memorial Trophy in the 5km in Pallesgreen on June23. Well Done Danny.
BRIAN BORU’S FOOTBALL
Last Wednesday we bowed out of the u12 B Championship with a defeat to Lattin Cullen in the County Final.
