OOLA YOUTH CLUB
Will reopen on September 8 to children (eight to 12 years) from 6pm to 7pm. Teens (first year to 18) from 7pm to 8.30pm, with registration on the night. Youth club takes place on a Saturday evening in Oola Community Centre and is a recreational safe space for young people with trained leaders. Members welcome from the parish or who go to school locally. We are also recruiting new leaders at present who will receive certified training and be placed on a rota. Anyone wishing to get involved should contact PRO Vivienne Dee or any of the leadership team.

A draw was probably the fairest ending to this match played in Hospital on Friday evening last. Oola held a three point advantage with ten minutes to go but allowed Bruff to dictate the final minutes to earn a draw.
U16 Girls Qr. Final Oola 7-4, Monagea 3-17.
Our U16 Girls were so unlucky to come away with a one point defeat having played some excellent football through out the game.

The Julie Leahy Memorial football blitz for girls U12 and U14 will take place in Oola on Saturday, September 15.
A draw for two All Ireland Hurling Stand tickets will be held on Thursday , September 6, at 7pm in the Community Centre. Tickets can be purchased prior to draw on Thursday evening.

OOLA COMMUNITY ALERT
A public meeting will be held in Oola Community centre on Thursday, September 13, at 8pm, about the proposed closure of Oola Garda Station. All public representatives will be invited to attend this meeting.
