This week the under 18s got a walk over from Southgate of Waterford City.

The Senior Womens team played the Muster Cup Semi-Final in Limerick against Mungret winning 2-0, a great victory that puts them in the final against the winners of Wilton and Caherdavin. Mungret had all the possesion for the first 20 minutes but Killenaule held out well and with a minute to go to half time Edel O’Dwyer had an excellant goal off her left leg to give the Tipp team the half time lead. Edel scored again after 15 of the second half to seal the game. Every player on the team had one of their best games of the season as any thing less would not have obtained the win. Well done girls and go for that Munster Cup now. Team: Hannah Stapleton, Eidin Murphy, Emer Barry, Cait Murphy, Ellen Walsh, Amy Pollard, Erin Slattery, Roisin O’Regan, Aimee Moloney, Shauna Hayes, Edel Dwyer and Aisling Dwyer.

Cill Nàile 4-19 St.Marys 2-11

Congratulations to our U21 team who have reached a South Semi Final following a great win over St.Marys. A superb performance by all the team, in particular John O’Dwyer who scored 1-13 ensured we progress to a Semi-Final. A consistent team performance was paramount to keeping St.Marys at bay; even though it was close to call at half time with only a 3 point lead. Cill Nàile put on a wonderful display of hurling in the 2nd half and all players contributed to the successful win to give their team another day out.
