Free acting workshop for adults

Stagecraft youth theatre are running a new course in acting for people aged 18 and upwards. This course is perfect for those who wish to develop their skills for theatre/film and those who have no experience in acting but want to learn. All training provided will be of a professional standard and delivered by a fully-qualified drama facilitator. A free taster workshop will take place on Thursday, 22nd November from 8pm–10pm in The Hub, 49 Albert Street, Clonmel. Come and see what it’s all about. Kool School Zumbathon

Kool School Health and Fitness are running a zumbathon in aid of Millie Lonergan on Wednesday 21 from 7.30pm - 9.30pm in the VEC Hall, The Mall, Clonmel. Millie is almost two years old and her parents are raising funds to send her to Leicester Royal University Hospital in the UK for a life changing bowel operation. You can pre-book your ticket for €10 or pay on the night €12. Lots of fun and spot prizes on the night and all for a very good cause.

Annual Banna Chluain Meala concert

Banna Chluain Meala will hold its annual Parents, Patrons and Friends Concert at Hotel Minella on this Saturday, 17th November at 8pm. The concert will feature the Senior Band, Colourguard and Junior Band and there will be a raffle for super prizes. Come along and enjoy a great night’s entertainment. All are welcome and admission is free.

Whist at the Bridge Centre

Whist will be played at the Bridge Centre, Cashel Road, Clonmel at 2.30pm on this Sunday, 18th.

Mass for Health Board staff

The annual Mass for living and deceased staff of the HSE/South Eastern Health Board will be celebrated on Thursday, 6th December at 11am in the Friary, Clonmel. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served afterwards.

Christmas Shoebox Appeal

The Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal is looking for volunteers to collect and drop shoeboxes and to help in the warehouse for two weeks - excluding Saturdays and Sundays - from November 19th from 7pm-10pm each evening. For more information contact Sarah Cullinan at 087-6353566.
