Last Saturday the Martin “Go Go” Butler benefit race night was held in the Cappawhite Resource Centre. The evening kicked off with music from the local Comhaltas group. This was followed by the race night, commentated on by the “great” Johnnie Looby. There was some very lively bidding on the items that were auctioned and the crowd danced the night away to great music. Thanks to the organising committee and everyone who supported and contributed to the event by the giving of their time, expertise, attendance, spot prizes, auction items, baking and, most importantly, money.
