VEE ROVERS F.C.

The U10s were at home to Clerihan on Sunday morning. The bitter conditions did not seem to deter these young players in any way and after an enjoyable contest Rovers ran out 4-1 winners. The Juniors were away to Clonmel Celtic B at ferryhouse and a goal after 6 minutes was enough for the home side to claim all three points. On a day when Rovers failed to convert their chances, this was a body blow to our ambitions in the League and lets hope it doesn’t come back to haunt us in the final run-in. The Golden Goal winner was Mark Haide and the Pontoon winner was the staunch Vee Rovers supporter Paul Mullins.
