To the Meagher and Lacey families Dublin and Kilbeg, Toem, on the recent death of Mary, mam, grandmam, greatgran. Mary was the wife of the late Willie Meagher and was interred in Palmerstown cemetery on March 25. “May Jesus have mercy on her dear soul”.

The centre opens again on Tuesday 9th indeed the hard working staff need one weeks break. On Thursday last before the break, Mary had the full Comhaltas gang come the centre and played for two hours with some lovely singing as well, while the crowd danced to all the lovely medleys. It was great to welcome two new members Mary and Kitty, the latter won first prize in the large Easter Raffle. It’s the place to be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays if you’re retired or just a few hours to pass, come to the centre for the craic.
