Ballylooby Ladies Club held their AGM recently, officers elected: Chairperson: Judy Butler, Secretary: Rose Barry, Treasurer: Helena Ryan. Meeting will take place in Ballylooby Community Hall this Wednesday, April 3, at 7.15pm.


Brian Borus Camogie Club are holding a clothes collection. Bring unwanted clothes in black bags to training. The clothes will be accepted up until April 20. You can drop bags off at Ballylooby dressing rooms during training. For more information contact Kevin 0879190525 or Mary 0863609622.

Training every Saturday evening at 5pm in Ballylooby GAA pitch for U8, U10, U12 and U14s. Well done to Caoimhe Ryan Ballylooby NS who represents the school in up coming camogie trials for primary games.

Well done to all the girls on the U14 camogie team who had a great win over New Inn last Tuesday night in the first round of their championship.


The U16s played their final round game on Sunday in Ballyneale against Sliabhnamban. Brian Borus came out winners against a very competitive Sliabhnamban team.

Well done to Jane Hyland - Clogheen NS and Linda Murphy - Ballylooby NS who go to represent their schools in the primary games football trials.

Well done to Laura Morrissey who was part of the Tipp u14 county team that played Waterford last Saturday.

Best of luck to Jessica Myers who is part of the Tipp u16 county team who take on Cork next Wednesday and also to Garret Byrne who is one of the selectors.

Congratulations to Jackie O’Gorman, Jennifer Grant, Mairead Morrissey and Trisha Hickey who are part of the Tipperary Senior team who defeated Down last Sunday.

Training for all under 6,8,10 and 12 girls will start next Wednesday evening in Clogheen at 6pm. Registration is now due and all players are asked to bring the money to training.

The club will hold a table quiz in The Village Inn, Ballylooby on Saturday, April 20.
