The Clogheen Drama Group would like thank everyone who came to see this years production of John B Keanes play Sharons Grave. For Thursday nights show, all proceeds on the night went to the school.

Clogheen Playground Committee would like to thank everybody who bought a ticket. Due to the success of the Cheltenham Challenge, the committee are donating €400 to the Friends of St. Theresa’s Hospital and another €400 to the restoration of Fr Sheehy’s Tomb in Shanrahan.

VEE ROVERS F.C.

Early chances to the Vee finally told when Ronan Dwyer put the home side ahead, with an outstanding strike on 27minutes. The same player showed his leadership qualities by finishing to the net on 35minutes. Burncourt exerted the early pressure in the second half and were rewarded with a Pa Ryan goal on 56minutes. The home side regrouped and Jimmi Haddu made the game safe for Rovers after 72minutes with an excellent header. Final score Vee Rovers 3 Burncourt Celtic 1.

Well done to Caoimhe Ryan Ballylooby NS who represents the school in camogie trials for primary games.

Well done to all the girls on the U14 camogie team who had a great win over New Inn last Tuesday night in the first round of their championship. Next up Carrick Swans on Tuesday, April 2, in Ballylooby.
