Ballingarry Tidy Towns in conjunction with An Taisce’s nationwide clean-up will be held next Saturday, April 6, at 10am, meeting at Martin Hanrahan’s. We are looking for volunteers from all areas of the parish to pick litter. We will be judged on our efforts and the media will be observing the Community Involvement. It is nationwide, and Many Hands make Light Work. We can supply bags, gloves etc and we will collect litter from you that you collect. BINGO FOR THE FLYING NUN

A Super Special Bingo was held on Easter Sunday in Ballingarry Community Centre at 2.30pm in aid of The Flying Nun (Sr. Patricia Wall). There were prizes galore.

GENEALOGY – TRACING YOUR ANCESTORS WORKSHOP

A one-day workshop on ‘Tracing Your Ancestors’ will be held at Crocanoir, Mullinahone, on Saturday, April 13, which might be of interest to those involved in family research. U10 Mixed Football Ballingarry play Fethard in Fethard before May 6. Note rule change, for these games in U10 Mixed football there must be at least three girls on the field of play at all times. U11 Hurling Ballingarry play Cahir in Cahir before May 6. U14 Camogie Ballingarry play Fethard in Fethard before May 6. County Finals for all the above categories will be played in Semple Stadium Thurles on Monday, June 3.
