The u14 team played Galtee Rovers in the County Final on June 3, in New Inn. It was a very close game throughout with Ardfinnan trailing for some of the second half. Ardfinnan started to get into the game and converted some great scores to put them in the lead at the final whistle on a scoreline of 2-9 to 2-2.
The Intermediate team played Moycarkey in the League Semi on Friday, May 31, in Clonoulty.
This was a tough game with Moycarkey going ahead by 6 points during the first half but Ardfinnan kept notching up their scores to lead by a point at half time. The second half was score for score and despite Ardfinnan having two girls sin binned they held on to earn the victory by 4 points.
They then had to play the League Final on Monday 3, against Aherlow in Ballylooby. Ardfinnan kept on battling but unfortunately Aherlow were too strong on the night.
