Congratulations to Andy Byrnes and Tony Byron who were selected on the Tipp Primary Games Football and Hurling Teams. Congrats also to Kevin Hally, Niall Hogan and Robbie Byron who were second in County Tipp Primary Schools Hurling Skills competition. This is the second year in a row that the School has won this title.
Our duck race as part of the festival was a tremendous success. Mary Tierneys duck was first over the line. Tom Hayes had the winning duck in the Celebrity duck race. Thanks to all concerned. We had a kids day on Saturday and there were lots of activities for the children. Thanks to Una and Ellen O’Donnell for their help. On Sunday our U8 and U10 hurlers had big wins over Rosegreen and Rockwell Rovers. All our players received medals from County Minor Josh Keane. A big thanks to Tom and Rose Boles for their continued hard work.
What a fabulous festival we had in Golden over the bank holiday weekend! All our events over the four days were very successful, with huge attendance at all of them. Thanks to everyone who supported us.
Congrats to: Rebecca Minogue, Cashel, our 2013 Queen of the Suir.
