Munster Semi Final

Well done to Tom Treacy who played on the Tipp intermediate team that defeated Limerick on the scoreline Tipp 0-20 Limk 0-15.

The Camogie and Ladies Football clubs express their deepest sympathies to the Breen and Kelly families on the very sad death of Helen Breen. Helen was a willing volunteer always ready to help whenever, and wherever, things needed to be done. Helen was an active member of our camogie club and took responsibility for a number of roles, including Vice Chairperson, to help the club get established and develop. Helen epitomised all that is good and admirable about voluntary effort in helping a club along its way. For those of us who worked alongside Helen it was our great privilege, and inspiration, to have had Helen as a part of our club team.

The U14s play their County Final this Thursday evening against Lattin. The last game in the first round of the U12 championship took place last Thursday with Moyle Rovers playing at home against Templemore. On a gorgeous summer evening, the girls played with Great Spirit and really took off in the second half learning a well draw on a scoreline of 3-3 each. Our U11’s played a challenge match on Sunday against Comeragh Rangers of Waterford and had a comprehensive win being the stronger team on the day. Congratulations and well done to Tipperary under 14 team who have qualified for the All Ireland C Final after a fine win over Leitrim last Saturday. Score 5-11 to 2-5. We wish our club representatives all the best as they prepare for the final against Wexford due to be played week of June 22. The seniors participated in a seven-a-side competition in Mallow last Saturday. The girls acquitted themselves very well and reached the plate semi final where they were narrowly beaten by Cappawhite.
