GALTEE ROVERS – ST. PECAUN’S
Last Wednesday our senior footballers had a three point win over Clonmel Óg in Round three of the county senior football championship. This win puts us in with a shout at the knockout stages if we can get a result against Cahir in the final group game. On Saturday our u14 footballers were defeated by Clonmel Commercials in the County u14 A football final. Reaching the final after a great semi-final win over Éire Óg Nenagh was a wonderful achievement for these lads who have put back to back West titles together and a flurry of late scores was just reward for the team who tried hard all through against a much stronger Clonmel outfit. Well done to Tony Byron who picked up a Cumann na mBunscol medal and represented his school on the Primary Game team. This weekend intermediate hurlers in action against Newport in Round three of the county championship.
