Marty Whelan of RTE and Lyric FM popped in last Saturday with Cllr. Billy Shoer, Mayor of Clonmel and Cllr. Helena McGee to meet Tony O’Connor.

Marty was very impressed with this amazing exhibition, which is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, and Saturday from 10am to 4pm through lunchtime.

All children and adults classes are now finished for the summer, except for the adults Crochet and Pottery classes which are ongoing.

Photos for the Primary Schools competition are nearly all in now so judging will take place shortly. Great prizes are available to be won from Clonmel Photo Centre, O’Connell Street and Fieldmaster, Parnell Street, Clonmel. An Art/Craft Camp for children from 4 to 6 years will be held on Monday, 1st July and for 7 to 10 year-olds on 8th July. All materials will be supplied. Graffiti art for pre-teens (11 upwards) and teenagers will be held on Monday, 24th June and Monday, 29th July. All materials will be supplied. A minimum of 9 students is required for the art/craft workshops to be viable.
