Recent Engagement - Heartiest congratulations to William O’Neill, Ayle and Mairead Crowe, Mauvaun, who recently bought the sparkler and sealed their engagement.

Sincere Sympathy - to Anna Ryan Bawn, Ballyhane on the death on Friday last 7th June of her sister Kitty, to her daughter Freda, grandchild, son-in-law, nephews, nieces and many friends sincere sympathy. Kitty’s husband Phillie was only deceased exactly one week previously.

Sympathy also to Mary B. O’Neill and the all the O’Dwyer family, Knockgorman on the death of their aunt Ita O’Rourke, Clerihan, who at the great age of 93 was interred in Clerihan on Monday 3rd June. On both their souls “Sweet Jesus have mercy.”

Claire is 21 - Congratulations and sincere bithday wishes to Claire Ryan (P), Ayle who with her family and many friends celebrated her 21st birthday on June 1st in Armshaws Lounge, The Square. May you enjoy many more healthy and happy birthdays Claire!

Fun Walk/Run - Cappa Fun Walk/Run, Sunday 7th July,4The Parents’ Association of Cappawhite N.S. will hold its annual family fun walk on Sunday June 16th. All families in the school are invited to participate. All funds raised are in aid of purchasing playground equipment for the school yard. All support is greatly appreciated.

Cappawhite N.S. - Congratulations to the sixteen pupils from Cappapwhite N.S. who received their First Holy Communion in the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, Cappawhite, on Saturday May 25th.

Four members of Cappawhite N.S. Green School’s committee recently travelled to Kilkenny to receive the school’s fourth green flag. The flag, which is based on the travel theme, will be raised in the school grounds at the end of June.

Congratulations to Brendan Murphy, Ryan Renehan and Fionn Brady, who recently represented the school in the Cumann na mBunscol Hurling skills competition. The Cappawhite N.S. team was place second in the Tipperary final.

Sincere thanks to all who supported the recent clothing collection for the school. A total of €500 was raised.

Work is progressing in the construction of the athletics track in the grounds of Cappawhite N.S. It is hoped to have the facility available for use following the summer holidays. Weeks Left. Training in the GAA Field everyMon-Wed-Friday 7-8pm.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome.C’mon, It’s Lots of fun!

The Parents’ Association of Cappawhite N.S. will hold its annual family fun walk on Sunday June 16th, leaving the school at 12.30 p.m. All proceeds are in aid of playground equipment for the school yard. All sponsorship and support is greatly appreciated.

Ayle N.S. - Comghairdeas to Ayle N.S. U/11 Camogie B Team who won the first County Camogie title for the school in Semple Stadium on Thursday last. Well done to staff and all involved, and anybody that helped in any way.
