Congratulations to Tommy and Mary Julian, Cashel and Clonganhue, who recently had another little girl Elizabeth to play with twins James and Katie. Also congrats to Michael and Aisling Armshaw, The Square and Inch, who had their second daughter last week. Hanora was charmed with her new sister Ronaid.

The death occurred recently of Seamus Hayes, Clonmel, and formerly Glassdrum, Cappawhite. Seamus was a real family man and a great mentor to all his family. He also loved sport of all kinds and especially golf. He is sadly missed by his wife Una and six children. His remains were interred in Clonmel. Sympathy also to Nora Mai and family of the late Pat Ryan (Bob) who was interred last week in Oola.

The centre was a hive of activity as usual this week, with a computer class on Wednesday morning followed by music by Mick Kellett, whom we would like to thank for being such a great entertained as always.

Also a big thank you to Rose who passed her many talents onto our members on Thursday Morning to start our piece of art work for the upcoming Bealtaine festival that we participate in every year. These pieces can be seen throughout the month of May in the Community Centre. We were also very fortunate to have Eileen Collins and Catherine Cremin from Tipp Mid West radio playing music on Thursday afternoon. Our members thoroughly enjoyed it, a big thank you to them for their time. Any enquiries about the centre, or if you would like to come and join us, can be made to Mary Buckley at 062-75071 or 087-2059888
