Carrick-on-Suir Musical Society’s 98th production, the musical “All Shook Up”, will open at the Strand Theatre this Saturday night, March 3.
The show will run at the Carrick-on-Suir theatre for a week.
Nerves are jangling among cast members in anticipation of the first performance to a live audience but they will settle as soon as the first notes are sung.
It is going to be a great show with plenty of comedy, severa; love stories, great musical numbers and a lovely ending so it’s sure to send you home in good humour and that is something we could all do with.
There will be a gala evening performance of “All Shook Up”, which is based on the greatest hits of the legendry Elvis Presley on Sunday evening for the Society’s patrons and corporate sponsors.
President of the Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) Richard Lavery and AIMS PRO Colm Moules will attend the performance.
The gala evening will kick off at 7pm with a cheese and wine reception at the theatre before the show.
Meanwhile, the Musical Society will celebrate a Mass of Remembrance for its deceased members in St Nicholas Church at 12 noon on Sunday. All are welcome to attend.
