Our next meeting will take place on Wednesday May 16 at 8p.m. Catering are the Rose group. Guest speaker will be Deirbhile Dromey talking about her book. Competition will be a half dozen decorated queen cakes. Hope all members can attend. The annual mass will take place on June 6th in Rathkeevin hall at 8p.m.

MAY ROSARY

During the month of May there will be rosary at the grotto in Rathronan every Monday evening at 7.30p.m

WEDDING.

Congratulations to Stephen Fuller and Hilary Lynch who were married in Powerstown on Saturday last.

BAPTISM.

Congratulations to John and Aisling Morrison whose child Stephanie Marie was baptised in Lisronagh on Saturday last.

PASTORAL COUNCIL.

Parish pastoral council meeting will take place on Monday 14th May at 8.00pm.

TROCAIRE.

Many thanks to the children and staff of Rathkeevin school who ran a raffle for Trocaire and made €1335. Children and staff are to be commended for their work in fundraising for the needy of our world. Trocaire collection from the parish amounted to €3550.

On Saturday May 5 our u8s played a football blitz in Grangemockler against Carrick Swan, Mullinahone and Grangemockler.

Well done and congratulations to the boys, some great football was played and a pleasant and friendly atmosphere was enjoyed by players and spectators alike.
