Grange

Condolences: Grange Community Council Ltd. wish to express their deepest sympathy to the Davis Family, Loughloher, on the untimely and sad passing of Nora. Nora served on the committee both as secretary and member for many years and was a great advocate for the community. Many members of the committee have wonderful memories of her in the annual preparations for Santa’s visit to the hall, as she provided tea, refreshments and a dash of fun every year! Grange is a better place for having her a resident. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis. May she rest in peace.

Grange Field Evening: Just a reminder to save the date for the annual field evening at the school on Friday evening 25th May. Come along for some fun and games; and maybe a cuppa and a chat!

Grange Sports Club- call for volunteers.: Grange Sports Club has run for 12 nights over the summer holidays for a number of years. Last year an average of 40 children attended each night, playing three different sports nightly. The committee who ran it for the last 6 years has stood down and thanks all involved in helping to run the club. We held a meeting before Easter to form a new committee but there were no volunteers. What’s involved is for the committee between them to be available for the 12 nights and the preparation leading up to the start of the club. There’s a list to work to, good coaches and support from the school and outgoing committee. So, last call....Are there 2 or 3 parents in the community who will run the club?
