Our Intermediate footballers had a great win over our neighbours Fr Sheehy’s in their second round game played in Ballyporeen last Saturday. We played some great football to lead 0-10 to 0-4 at half time. Martin Burke got the crucial goal in the second half to ensure we ran our worthy winners on a score of 1-13 to 2-8. We now play Grangemockler/Ballyneal in our next game fixed for Saturday 19 May in Ned Hall Park.

After some confusion this week over the South Minor C Football final against Carrick Davins it has now been fixed for Friday 9th May in Davin Park at 6 30pm, as we are playing in the Davins home pitch we urge as many as possible to travel and support the lads in their quest for a south title.

Our Under 14 footballers had a great win last Monday evening when playing Carrick Davins in Ballylooby. They scored a total of 9 goals to win on a score of Ballylooby/Castlegrace 9-4 Carrick Davins 5-11
The under 12 footballers played a semi final last weekend in Goatenbridge and lost to a strong Clonmel Og side. All the lads gave their best efforts but were unlucky on the day to end up losing by a few points.
Well done to James Morgan, Barry Cooney and Pierce Murphy who all represented our club on the South Tipp under 16 hurling team that took place in a Munster blitz held last weekend. It’s a great achievement for our club to have 3 players on this team and they all played their part only to loose in the final of the competition
