KELLOGG’S CUL CAMP 2012: Last week the club ran its second ever Cul Camp and was once again an outstanding success with over 70 boys and girls in attendance. Kids from ages 5 to 13 spent the week learning new hurling and football skills and practising old ones under the supervision of the excellent coaches, Johnny Cummins, Mathew Norris, Darragh Kearney and Samantha Lambert. Despite the ominous weather reports we escaped the week largely uninterrupted by any rainfall. A huge thank you to all the club helpers: David O Halloran, John Fennessey, Paddy Kenneally, Conor Lonergan, Barry Cooney, Ger Beary, Fiona Fahy and of course to Trisha Tobin who was on hand with the first aid bag. A big thanks also to groundsman John Pine who had the place in tip top order each morning. Thanks also to Carmel Morgan for supplying the food for the coaches. Well done to every body who took part during the week!!
