Rockwell Rovers had a good win last Friday 13 July in Leahy Park, Cashel over Cashel King Cormacs in the Junior B Football Championship. Rockwell Rovers were on top from the start and an Aidan Barron goal halfway through the first half really put Rovers on top, a position which they never relinquished. Half time score was 1-7 to 0-3. Rockwell Rovers started the second half as they finished the first. T.J. Ryan having a fine game scoring a second half goal which put Rovers out of sight. Final score 2-13 to 0-4. Everyone had a good game but effective on the night was the full back line of Colm Heaney, Robbie O’Halloran and Kevin Riordan, David Brennan in midfield and goal scorers Aidan Barron and T.J. Ryan. All the subs were used and played their part especially Johnny Keating.
