Munster High Performance Tournament to be hosted by Cashel Boxers

Boxing can be described as the most successful Olympic sport in Ireland and it is grower stronger every year. Cashel Boxing Club has noticed this success in the shape of increased interest in the sport with many new members signing up the past few months.

Boxing can be described as the most successful Olympic sport in Ireland and it is grower stronger every year. Cashel Boxing Club has noticed this success in the shape of increased interest in the sport with many new members signing up the past few months.

On Sunday, September 30, Cashel will host the first ever Munster High Performance Tournament. The tournament is taking place in Halla Na Féile, in Cashel, and will offer the opportunity to watch and support the best male and female under 22 boxers of Munster!

Local boxers from Cashel Boxing Club will also take part and a good turnout is expected. The doors open at 2pm where tickets can be bought for €10 for adults and €5 for children.

Cashel Boxing Club would also like to remind everyone that they will be having a book sale in Tesco’s in Cashel in October. Any second hand book donations are welcome and can be made to Sr. Mary in Spafield Family Resource Centre.

Additionally, a fashion show, in aid of Cashel Boxing Club, will be held in Halla Na Féile on Friday, December 7, and all are welcome to attend.
