St. Mary’s Parish Irishtown Clonmel

Senior Choir

Senior Choir

Jane Kennedy has taken leave of absence, due to work commitments, as director of the Senior Choir. Eileen Murray and Mary Adamson are taking up the role on a shared basis. We thank Jane for her exemplary commitment, dedication and direction of the Senior Choir for the past 35 years. Under Jane’s direction the choir grew and developed and became the jewel in the Parish’s crown. We thank Jane for all her work, advice, and co-operation in enhancing our liturgies over the years. Jane’s involvement was well above the call of duty and she gave unselfishly, which was reflected in a great sense of comradeship, enjoyment and enthusiasm amongst the members of the choir. Jane has promised the choir that she will still be available and willing to help them in an advisory capacity. Eileen and Mary are wished every success in their new role. We have every confidence you will continue the work and example set by Jane. We thank you for accepting the role and shared ministry of leadership and directorship.
