Ballyneale FC defeated Killusty 3-2 in the preliminary round of the Munster Junior Cup last Sunday.
This very competitive game was played in perfect conditions at the foot of Slievenamon.
From the outset, Ballyneale imposed their game on their opponents, creating numerous chances throughout the first half.
Finbar Hickey was again on target lobbing the keeper from outside the box, leaving Ballyneale 1 -0 up at the break.
Ballyneale again started strongly in the second half with Robbie O’Brien finishing in similar fashion to the first goal. To their credit Killusty began to cause problems, especially from set pieces and scored two goals. It was all to play for in the final ten minutes of the game.
Enda Fogarty, who came on for David Morton, scored a fine goal. He picked up possession on the left and kicked the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

It will again be a difficult assignment, but a game the team look forward to in these exciting times for the Club.
