Open training for next year’s Co. U16 in Bansha, 11am, Saturday, December 8. Not trials. U18 open training day on Saturday, December 8 and 15, at 10.30am in Cahir, not trials. Trials in January. Tipp Co Board AGM December 10, at 7.30pm in the Horse and Jockey. Our AGM December 12 in Lattin with the Board Na nOg. The club expresses sympathy to Dominic Ryan on the death of his brother Martin, to Noel Ryan, Cordangan, to the family of Mrs. Moloney, Glenbane, and to the O’Brien Family, Cullen. Congrats to Margaret Russell who has been appointed as new club secretary. Thanks to Martie who will be a hard act to follow!

TABLE QUIZ

Cullen-Lattin soccer club will hold a table quiz in Quinlan’s Bar, Cullen, Friday, December 7, 9.30pm.

RECENT DEATH

The death occurred last week at Deerpark Nursing Home, Shronell, of Bridget (Biddy) O’Brien, beloved wife of the late Jackie and mother of the late Kathleen. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, sons and daughter-in-law, siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Removal from Whelan’s Funeral Home, Tipperary to St Patrick’s Church, Cullen, for Requiem Mass. Burial took place in the local cemetery.

SOCCER

Junior A Team were defeated 1-0 by Cahir Park in last Sunday’s Division 1 game. The B team’s Peter O’Reilly Cup game was postponed. Next Sunday the A Team will entertain Killenaule Rovers, while the B Team’s Shield Final against St Kieran’s has been scheduled for the same day. In the event of this match not going ahead, the team will travel to Ballyneale. Saturday, St David’s U15s have a home match against Knockainey at 12.30pm.
