BRENDAN MORRISSEY MEMORIAL CUP
The Kilcoran Stags would like to announce that the Tug of War teams that contested the Brendan Morrissey Memorial Cup, namely - Kilcoran Stags; Graigue; Village Inn; and Ballylooby - will be presenting the money - which they raised at the tug of war- on Saturday, December 8, at the Granary in Cahir at 9pm.
The committee reminds those people who have monitored alarms that the equipment should be tested every week. Just push the button. Someone from the monitoring company will speak to you. Let him know you’re doing the weekly check. He’ll enjoy the chat with you. Reminder - drive slowly! Although the speed limit on the Castle Road is 80km per hour, the committee feels that this speed - although legal - is irresponsible and dangerous, especially near the school gate where the road narrows, bends, and contains entrances to fields and driveways. The committee has initiated efforts to lower the speed limit. Until then, please reduce your speed in this area. By now, all homes should have been visited by committee members who explained the upcoming Text Alert program.
