St. Patrick’s Parade
Quiz Night

The next meeting of the St. Patrick’s Parade Committee will be this Thursday at 7pm in Mikey Ryans.

One key item will be a social night for supporters and participants in the parade on Thursday, February 28. It will take the form of a fund raising table quiz, which will be held at the Brian Boru.

Parade Secretary Sean Laffey said all participants in last year’s parade, the bands, the walking groups, the floats and the commercial entries are urged to send along a team to the table quiz.

“We’ll have a cash prize for the best team on the night and there will be finger food and a lot of fun. It’s not just a fundraiser but a way of saying thank you to all the people who took part in 2012 and we are hoping for a large turn out on the evening.”
