On Wednesday, February 20, meet in Goatenbridge at 8pm to begin the process of a Club Plan. We will have help on night from Munster Council Development. This plan has to be completed by April 20 and will focus on finance, coaching, player registrations, development work and initiatives to attract new members.
We congratulate Colaiste Dun Iascaigh on winning the Munster Senior B Vocational Schools hurling final. This team involved players from our club including Captain Stephan Lambert.
Thanks all who supported our quiz. Money raised will go towards the provision of plants. We were delighted to accept our new defibrillator from Cllr Lonergan. It will be placed in the AED box on the wall of the Hall. Training Wednesday, February 13, 7pm in the Glenview Lounge. The Text Alert Initiative will be launched shortly.
It is very disappointing to see that a large amount of household rubbish is being dumped in the vicinity of the bottle banks in the village, despite FAS and the community’s efforts to keep the Goatenbridge area clean. We ask these inconsiderate people to STOP!
