Friends of Ballingarry GAA are holding their 16th Annual Golf Classic on Friday and Saturday, May 10th/11, in Callan Golf Club. The Golf Classic incorporates the GAA Club Golf Championship for the Donal Kealy and the “Babs” Keating Perpetual Trophies and is open to GAA Clubs from Tipperary and Kilkenny. Congrats to Nicole Shelly on winning a Munster medal with Tipperary U16s. Our club will hold its annual clothes collection on May 11.
OLD SCHOOL, THE COMMONS
Our school reunion will be celebrated on June 29 and we would like to invite all past pupils of the school to this event. As it may be difficult to make contact with all past pupils we would appreciate any help we can get in making contact with others or collecting old photographs etc. If you would like to help out in any way please text your name to 0863121950 and we will gladly get in touch. Music lessons have resumed in the school on Wednesdays and Fridays. €5 per clas. Wednesdays: Tin Whistle from 6pm to 8pm; Bodhrán from 7pm to 8pm ; Banjo from 8pm to 9.30pm and Accordion from 8pm to 9pm. Guitar lessons on Fridays from 5pm to 6pm for beginners and 6pm to 7pm for advanced. Please come along as we are hoping to build up our music group for next summer’s music festival which will take place on June 30. Step dancing 5pm to 6pm on Fridays and Adult Set Dancing 9pm to 10pm on Mondays. Annual céilí on June 29.
