GAA WALKING TRACK

The new track in our GAA Ground is almost complete. Due to electricity and insurance costs we are asking anyone using this new facility for €20 per year to cover expenses. For this you become a social member of Golden/ Kilfeacle GAA.

KILFEACLE AND DISTRICT RFC

Congrats to the 1st team on victory in the Garryowen Cup Final. Stephen Flood Capt, Jack Sullivan, Charles Walsh, Tom Doyle, Ger and Shane Luby, Diarmuid Carr and JJ Cooney. All had a great input. Well done to James and Pakie Hallissey on their coaching. Best wishes to Ger Luby on making the Munster Jnr Panel v Leinster on April 27 in Limerick. Good wishes also to Michael O’Connell and Niall Morrissey in the 2nd Team.

GOLDEN KILFEACLE 
FESTIVAL

Thursday, May 30, festival bingo in the GAA hall, 8.30pm. Friday, May 31, final of the PJ Ryan (d) memorial soccer tournament in the GAA hall, 8pm. Friday night will also see the local fun run walk commence from the GAA Field at 7pm. Another lady who will take part in the Queen of the Suir is Rebecca Minogue from Cashel who will represent the Bridge House.

TIDY VILLAGES

Golden tidy villages will hold a fundraising cake sale and tea/coffee stall in the GAA field on Sunday, June 2, from 1.30pm. Donations of cakes, buns, tarts etc welcome.

DOG SHOW

A “fun dog show” will take place as part of our sports day on Sunday, June 2. All dogs welcome, great prizes. Start 2.30pm.

SENIOR GAA

SHC Sunday, April 28, Dundrum 6.45pm - Golden Kilfeacle v Cashel King Cormacs. Congratulations to Josh Keane who had a marvellous game in the Munster Minor Hurling Quarter final against Waterford last week. He scored a total of 2-9.
