BRIAN BORUS LADIES FOOTBALL
Brian Borus U16 team played the County C semi-final last Sunday against Arravale Rovers. Brian Borus had the better of their opponents in the first half and looked like they had sealed their final spot. However, Arravale came out a different team in the second half and at the final whistle both sides were level. The replay will take place next weekend. The table quiz held for the club last weekend was poorly supported. However, thanks to Seanie Lonergan, Tom and Mary Fahey for all their help. Thanks to those who turned up on the night. The winners were Marie Murphy, Noelle Ahearne, Mary Flynn and Margaret English. The club are hosting a fashion show on Thursday, May 9, in St. Paul’s Community Hall, Clogheen.
